  • 2 pounds Italian link sausage
  • 1 jar (26 ounce size) spaghetti sauce
  • 1 large green bell pepper, sliced into strips
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add the Italian sausage links and cook, turning frequently, until well browned.

Add the sausage to the crock pot and add the remaining ingredients. Stir well.

Cover the crock pot and cook on low heat for 4 hours or until the sausage is cooked through.

Serve the sausages with peppers and some of the sauce on hoagie rolls.
