1 stick butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon Almond extract
1 7oz can whole cranberry sauce
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teapoon soda
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
Topping: (mix well)
3/4 cups powdered sugar
2 Tablespoons water
1 teaspoon almond extract
Cream butter, sugar and eggs. Add all dry ingredients together (Baking powder, soda, salt and flour)and than alternately with sour cream. Add almond extract.
Grease and flour tube pan or use 2 loaf pans. Pour half the batter in pan. Spread cranberry sauce over batter. Pour the remaining batter in pan/pans. Sprinkle nuts on top.
Bake at 350 for 55 minutes. Remove from pan and pour on topping after cooled.
