BBQ PICNIC CHICKEN IN A PIE CRUST

This is an easy recipe to make and my boys loved it, they called it a picnic in a pie crust, thus the name!

Serves 4-6
1 Rotisserie Chicken off the bone and cut into bite size chunks.
1 (9-10")deep dish prepared pie crust(you can blind bake it if you like a crispier crust)
1 (15oz) canned home-style baked beans
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
6 slices of bacon cooked and crumbled
1/2 cup green onions, sliced
1 1/2 cups favorite BBQ sauce
1/2 cup french fried onions
Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees
In a large bowl mix all the ingredients, saving out 1/2 cup cheese to sprinkle over the top.
Pour the mixture into the pie crust and sprinkle with french fried onions and reserved shredded cheese.
Bake until bubbly and crust is browned lightly approximately 20-25 minutes.
