ROASTED GARLIC POTATO PIZZA CRUST

Category: KID FRIENDLY

Here is a recipe for Home made pizza crust that your kids will love and you can add your favorite pizza toppings. this makes two medium crusts so you can vary the toppings
2- medium pizza crusts

1(4 oz) pouch of roasted garlic mashed potatoes
1/4 cup warm milk(about 105 degrees)
1 envelope of rapid rise yeast
2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
3/4 cup room temperature buttermilk
2 Tablespoons olive oil
1 Tablespoon honey or sugar
1 teaspoon salt

Directions:
In a mixer bowl with the bread hook attachment or a food processor bowl with the bread blade, add the warm water, honey and yeast.
Pulse or mix until yeast is dissolved.
Add the pouch of potatoes, salt, buttermilk and olive oil.
Mix or pulse until blended.
Add flour and mix until dough starts to climb up the hook or until it gathers in a ball in the food processors.
Knead by hand for 5 minutes or until smooth and elastic.
Shape into a ball, and spray with cooking spray.
Place it into a bowl, cover and put into a warm place for about 1 hour or until the dough doubles in size.
At this point you will punch down and it's ready to build your pizza!
Pat or roll out your dough to about a 10" circle or for deep dish an 8" cake pan.
Place your favorite pizza toppings and bake at 400 degrees for 17-20 minutes.
These can also be partially baked (like a boboli pizza shell) and frozen and used for later or you can "bake" them on the grill for grilled pizza's!
