PLUM GOOD BBQ COUNTRY RIBS

Category: CROCKPOT

My family enjoys a good mess of ribs. Boneless ribs are especially a hit at my dinner table! These are especially good because they go into to the Crockpot in the morning. No fuss no muss. Serve with Sweet Savory Corn Muffins.

Prep Time:10 minutes
Ready in approximately 10 hours
Servings 6

2 pounds boneless western or country style pork loin ribs
1 large onion-sliced
1 garlic clove minced
2 Tablespoons Old Bay Seasoning
2 Tablespoons brown sugar
1 cup of your favorite brand BBQ sauce
1/3 cup plum jam if unavailable substitute grape jelly or apricot jam
1/4 cup chili sauce-optional
pepper to taste
Directions:
Spray with non stick the crock insert of your 4-6 quart crock pot.
In a small bowl mix together the Old Bay & brown sugar.
Rub it over the ribs thoroughly.
Place ribs, onions & garlic into the sprayed crock pot insert.
Cover and cook on LOW for 8-10 hours.
Approximately 35 minutes before serving-drain & discard the liquid from the ribs.
In a large measuring cup or bowl add the remaining ingredients and pour over the ribs in the ribs in the crock pot.
Cover and Cook on HIGH for an additional 25-30..
