Jalepeno Cornbread

1 can whole kernel corn
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 cups (or 1 lb) sour cream
8 oz. grated cheddar cheese
6 oz. chopped jalepenos
2 cups self rising corn meal
4 eggs, beaten
1 medium onion, finely chopped
4 strips bacon, cooked crispy and crumbled

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Combine ingredients and pour into pan. Bake about 1 hour at 350 degrees ( my electric oven requires 1 hour and 10 minutes). Allow at least 10 minutes to cool before cutting.
