Prep Time: Cook Time: Total Time:
Ingredients:
2 cans of corn (original recipe calls for white, but either mixed (white & yellow) or yellow is more flavorful to this chef)
1 package of cream cheese (let sit - room temperature - before using to allow to soften)
1 stick of butter (let sit - room temperature - before using to allow to soften)
1/4 cup of sugar
sliced jalapenos (to taste)
Recipe:
1. Drain the corn
2. Add the cream cheese and butter
3. Add the sugar
4. Mix the ingredients together so that the butter and cream cheese or smoothly integrated in with the corn
5. Add jalapenos according to your / your guest's taste buds
6. Pour into a Pyrex, aluminum pan, or roasting pan (all are acceptable)
7. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour until the mixture is bubbling and browning around the edges of the pan
8. Remove from the oven and let cool before serving.
Note: you can double, triple, quadruple the recipe by simply adding 2x, 3x, 4x the ingredients (e.g, triple would be 6 cans of corn, 3 packages of cream cheese, and 3 sticks of butter).
This is one of those recipes that will have your guests wanting more and asking for the recipe.
