Mystery Sorbet

Mystery- Lemon Sorbet

Even after you sample this unusual desert,
you may not realize it is made with beer !
and sooooo good.!
Ingredants:
1 cup granulated sugar
1 can or bottle (120z) beer. Chilled.
1 Tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon grated lemon zest

Directions:
In a small saucepan combine sugar and 1/2 cuo of water.Bring to a boil. remove from heat and cool to room temperature.

Combine beer ( chilled)
lemon zest with sugar syrup.
Place in a 2 quart baking dish and freeze for 2-3 hours. Until firm.

In a food processor or blender process frozen beer mixture until smooth
Place in same cold baking dish and freeze again for 2-3 hours longer, until just firm.

Evenly divide into small desert glasses or small clear mugs

Makes -2 cups of sorbet.
I like to serve it with small pretzels on the side.
