Chinese Chicken Salad

1 head of cabbage, chopped
6 green onions, chopped
1/2 c of butter
2 pkgs. of ramen noodles
1/4 c slivered almonds
1/2 c seasame seeds
1 c canola oil
1 c sugar
1/2 c vinegar
2 tsp soysauce

1. Combine cabbage and green onions in large bowl. Set aside.
2. Melt butter in skillet.
3. Crush noodles (minus seasoning packets) and add to skillet along with almonds and seasame seeds. Cook, stirring constantly until browned. Remove from heat and set aside.
4. In a small bowl, combine oil, sugar, vinegar, and soy sauce. Blend well and keep at room temperature.
5. About 30 minutes before serving, mix all salad, ingredients, and dressing together.

Makes 14 cups.
