SALAD - VEG - CUCUMBER ONION VINAIGRETTE

Makes 8 servings.

4 cucumbers, thinly sliced
1 white onion, thinly sliced
1 c. white vinegar
1/2 c. water
3/4 c. granulated sugar
1 T. dried dill

In a large bowl, toss together cucumber and onion.
In a saucepan, over medium-high heat, combine vinegar, water and sugar; bring to a boil
Pour hot vinegar mixture over cucumber and onion; stir in dill.
Cover and refrigerate until cold.
