Makes 4 servings.

1/4 c. butter
1 clove garlic, quartered
1 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
1/2 lb. prosciutto ham, julienned
3/4 c. whipping cream
1/2 c. white wine
1 c. frozen peas, defrosted
salt and pepper
1/2 lb. green fettuccine noodles, cooked and hot
1/2 lb. white fettuccine noodles, cooked and hot
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Parmesan cheese for serving

Melt butter in skillet. Saute garlic until browned.
Remove garlic with slotted spoon and discard.
Add mushrooms; saute until soft.
Add prosciutto and saute to brown, adding more butter if necessary.
Transfer to a large saucepan to keep warm.
Stir cream into skillet, scraping all bits from bottom of pan. Add white wine and peas; season with salt and pepper. Heat until warmed through, stirring often
Pour over mushrooms and prosciutto. Cover to keep warm.
A fettuccine to mushroom mixture; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, toss to coat.
Turn onto serving platter. Sprinkle with additional Parmesan cheese to serve.
