Makes 6 servings.

1 1/2 c. long-grain white rice, uncooked
2 c. beef broth
1 pkg. dried French onion soup mix
1 c. water
1/4 c. butter, melted
1 T. Worcestershire sauce
1 c. sliced mushrooms
1 tsp. Italian seasoning

Preheat oven to 350F.
In a 2-quart casserole, combine rice, broth, soup, water and butter.
Add Worcestershire sauce, mushrooms and Italian seasoning; stir to blend.
Bake, covered, at 350F for 1 hour, stirring once after 30 minutes.
