PASTRY - JALAPENO CHICKEN PINWHEELS

Makes 32 servings.

4 oz (1/2 pkg.) cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. chopped cooked chicken breast
1/4 c. chopped fresh cilantro
3 T. minced pickled jalapeno chiles
2 green onions, minced
salt and pepper
8 oz. sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed

Preheat oven to 375F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
In small bowl, combine chicken, cilantro, chiles and green onion; stir to blend.
Season with salt and pepper to taste; set aside.
Roll dough into 12 x 16-inch rectangle.
Spread cream cheese mixture on dough rectangle to within 1/2 inch of edges.
.Starting with one long side, roll up rectangle; press seam to seal.
Cut into 32 slices; place cut side down on baking sheets.
Bake at 375F for 14 to 16 minutes, or until light golden brown.
Immediately remove from cookie sheet. Serve warm.
