MUSHROOMS - BACON WRAPPED

Makes 2 dozen.

24 medium fresh mushrooms
12 bacon strips, halved
1 tsp. Tabasco sauce
1 c. bottled barbecue sauce

Preheat oven broiler. Line a baking sheet with foil.
Wrap each mushroom with a piece of bacon; secure with a toothpick.
In a cup, combine Tabasco and barbecue sauces.
Thread onto metal or soaked wooden skewers; brush with barbecue sauce. Place on baking sheet.
Broil for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the bacon is crisp and the mushrooms are tender, turning and basting occasionally with remaining barbecue sauce.
