BISCUITS - SAUSAGE GRAVY

Category: Crepes, Pancakes & Breads

Makes 4 servings.

1 lb. bulk pork sausage
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
2 c. milk
salt and pepper
8 prepared biscuits

Crumble and cook sausage in large skillet over medium heat until browned.
Drain off fat and reserve 1/4 c. of drippings (add butter, if necessary, to make up to 1/4 cup).
Return measure fat to skillet with sausage and heat.
Stir in flour until dissolved; gradually stir in milk.
Cook gravy until thick and bubbly; season with salt and pepper.
Serve hot over biscuits.
