NUTS - CAJUN ROASTED ALMONDS

Makes 4 cups.
1 lb. almonds
4 T. butter, melted
1 T. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dried basil
1 tsp. dried oregano
1 tsp. dried thyme
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
Place almonds and butter in crock pot.
In a small bowl, combine chili powder, salt, basil, oregano thyme, onion powder, garlic powder and cayenne pepper.
Sprinkle over almonds; stir well to coat nuts.
Cover and cook on HIGH for 15 minutes.
Reduce heat to LOW and continue cooking, uncovered, for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
Transfer nuts to a baking sheet and cool completely.
