Sour Cream Pound Cake

2 cups real Butter(1 pound)(No margarine)
3 cups granulated sugar
6 eggs
1 cup sour cream(8oz)
3 cups cake flour
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon lemon flavoring
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
Greased and floured tube pan
Cream sugar and butter well. Add 1 egg at a time and blend. Add sour cream and flavoring. Add flour and soda mixture in a little at a time. Hand mix gently till blended. Bake in a tube pan at 325* for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
There will be a crack on top, but that is the way it is supposed to look. I bake this every Thanksgiving and it goes fast!
Do this recipe by hand and not an electric mixer.
