Butternut Squash and Apple Bake

2 lb. butternut squash (2 small)
2 medium crispy apples ( I like Galas)
1/2 c. brown sugar packed
1/4 c. butter melted
1/2 tsp. mace
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
Peel squash and deseed. Then cut into 1/2 inch slices. Layer into an 8x12x2 baking dish sprayed with Pam or greased.

Core, quarter and core apples. Cut into slices and layer over the squash.

Mix remaining ingredients in a separate bowl and mix well. Spoon over the apples. Cover tightly with aluminum foil.

Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 1 hour and 15 miin or until the squash are tender.
