Easy Cheesy Potato Casserole

6-large potatoes or 2lbs hash browns
1-can cream of chicken soup
1/2cup margarine or butter
1/2 pint sour cream
1/3 cup chopped green onions
11/2cup shredded cheese[cheddar]
save 1/2 cup cheese
pinch salt & pepper
1 pint sour cream [opt]


boil potatoes, cool and cube heat soup and
butter until melted blend in sour cream,
onions an cheese pour mixture over potatoes and mix pour in casserole dish top with
grated cheese

bake for 45 minutes at 350
