Easy Fruit Cobbler

1 stick oleo
1 cup flour
1/4 tsp.salt
1#2 can Fruit (Peaches)
1 1/2 tsp.baking powder
2 cups. sugar (one of the 2 cups is for top)
3/4 cup milk

Melt oleo in 9x13 baking dish. Mix flour, salt,baking powder and 1 cup sugar with the milk.Pour mixtureinto dish over the melted oleo.Add canned fruit with the juices. (Will be runny).Sprinkle 1 cup sugar over the fruit. Bake at 375 degree till pastry covers the top of fruit and is brown. Don't overcook.It should be juicy! 20 minutes or so. Greet with ice cream.
