World's Greatest Cheesecake

Crust: 52 Vanilla wafers crushed
1 stick melted butter
1/2 to 1 cup chopped pecans
Mix crushed vanilla wafers, butter, and pecans. Press into spring form pan.


3 - 8oz. cream cheese - softened
1 1/2 cup sugar

Beat together well. Add 4 eggs - one at a time. Beat well after each. Pour mixture into crust and bake for 45 minutes. Before removing from oven, be sure it is firm, glazed and slightly brown. Mix 1 cup sugar and 16 oz sour cream. Combine and spread over cheesecake while hot. Bake 10 more minutes. Remove from oven and let cool before removing from pan.Remove from pan and refrigerate ( Freezes beautifully )
