1-pound ground beef
1 tsp.dried onion
1 tsp. diced green pepper (optional)
1-cup ketchup
1 tbsp. yellow mustard
2 tbsp. brown sugar
2tbsp. white vinegar
1/2 tsp salt

1.brown the ground beef
2.Drain the grease and return the beef back to the skillet.
3.Add the remaining ingredients
4.Stir
5.Simmer for 30 minutes
6.Serve on buns


Yield:8 sandwhiches

Variations...use pickle juice for the vinegar, and a variety of mustards rather than yellow mustard or use ground turkey or pork for the beef.
