2 deep dish pie crusts
2 sticks butter (not margerine)
2 teaspoons vanilla
6 eggs
3 cups sugar
1 cup buttermilk

Mix eggs, sugar and butter until light. Add vanilla and buttermilk. pour into unbaked pie shells and bake for 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Decrease heat to 325 degrees and bake until firm, approximately 30 minutes.
