1 lb ground beef
1 (16 oz) can refried beans
1 pkg taco seasoning
1 (24 oz) jar picante sauce
1/4 cup water
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
16 oz sour cream

Brown ground beef, crumbling; drain and set aside. Wipe pan clean and mix refried beans, taco seasoning, 1/2 the picante sauce and water, stirring nearly constantly. When mixed and heated gently, add reserved ground beef. Remove from heat. Spread mixture into 2 (9 inch) pie pans. Spread sour cream, the remaining picante sauce and cheese . Bake, uncovered, 1/2 hour at 350. Serve with tortillas chips.
