1 1/2 lbs fresh mushrooms, cleaned and sliced
3 cups soft French bread crumbs
1/2 cup butter, melted
Salt and pepper, to taste
1/2 cup dry white wine
Preheat oven to 325. Layering in thirds in a 2 quart baking dish start with mushrooms then bread crumbs, drizzle with butter and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Repeat layers and then add wine. Cover and bake for about 35 minutes. Uncover and continue to bake about 10 minutes or until crumbs are toasted. Serves 6-8
