Crust
1 cup nuts, chopped
1/2 cup butter
1 cup flour
Filling
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese
1 cup powdered sugar
8 oz whipped topping, divided
Topping
4 cups strawberries, crushed
3 tbsp cornstarch
1 cup sugar, divided
1 cup water
1 (3 oz) pkg strawberry Jell-O
Crust: Combine ingredients and spread in a 13x9 inch baking pan and bake at 350 for 10-15 minutes. Cool while making filling.
Filling: Cream together cream cheese and sugar. Fold in whipped topping. Spread over cooled crust. Refrigerate.
Topping. Mix sugar, water and cornstarch together to a saucepan. Heat until mixture begins to boil and turns from cloudy to clear. Remove from heat and add Jell-O. Add strawberries to mixture. Cool; spread over cream cheese filling. Refrigerate. Cover with remaining whipped topping and sprinkle with nuts.
