2 jalapeno peppers, stems, seeds and membranes removed, chopped
1 lb ground beef
1 egg
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup shredded Monterey jack cheese
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
Salsa

Mix chopped pepper and remaining ingredients except salsa. Shape mixture into 1 inch balls. Place in an ungreased baking pan and bake, uncovered, at 400 until brown, 15-20 minutes. Serve with salsa.
