8 country-style ribs
Dr. Pepper, not diet
5 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp liquid smoke
1 large onion, quartered
BBQ sauce
Place ribs in a stockpot. Pour Dr. Pepper over ribs to cover. Add next 3 ingredients and bring to a boil. Lower to simmer and cook until ribs are tender. Place ribs in a baking pan. Pour sauce over ribs. Bake at 350 for about 30-45 minutes or cook on the grill.
