1 (3 oz) pkg Jell-O, any flavor
1 cup boiling water
1 prepared angel food cake, cut into 1 inch squares
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar
3 tsp lemon or lime juice, depending on flavor of Jell-O
Lemon or lime zest
1 (8 oz) carton whipped topping, thawed
In a bowl, dissolve Jell-O in boiling water. Refrigerate until mixture begins to thicken, about 30 minutes. Place cake in a 13x9 inch baking pan coated with cooking spray; set aside. In a small bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Beat in sugar, juice and zest. Add Jell-O mixture and beat until combined. Fold in whipped topping. Spread over cake, covering completely. Refrigerate at least 2 hour or until firm. Cut into squares.
