1 lb penne, cooked al dente, drained
1/4 cup unsalted butter
1/4 cup flour
2 cups milk
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/8 tsp ground nutmeg and white pepper
2 tbsp tomato sauce
Salt, to taste

While pasta is cooking, in a saucepan, melt butter and whisk in flour. Slowly whisk in milk and cheese. Simmer 12-15 minutes, or until thickened. Remove from heat and whisk in remaining ingredients, tasting for salt. Combine with cooked, drained pasta.
