1 cup butter
3/4 cup sugar and firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
1 1/2 cups rolled oats, not quick cooking
1 cup milk chocolate chips and butterscotch chips
1/2 cup chopped walnuts and flaked coconut

Preheat over to 375. In a bowl, beat butter for 30 seconds. Add next 4 ingredients and beat until creamy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Add the flour and beat until mixture is combined. Stir in remaining ingredients and drop dough by rounded tsp 2 inch apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 8-10 minutes or until cookies are puffed and feel set to the touch. Cool on cookie sheet 1 minute. Transfer to wire rack to cool completely.
