1 small onion, minced
2 clove garlic, minced
6-8 fresh basil leaves, minced
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/8 tsp salt and pepper
8-10 drops Worcestershire sauce
2 1/2 lbs ground beef
1 1/4 lbs ground veal
3/4 lb milk pork sausage

Filling
1/2 small loaf sourdough French bread
1/2 cup half-and-half
1 cup crumbled blue cheese
3 tbsp minced fresh parsley

Preheat oven to 350. Lightly oil a cookie sheet with sides. In a bowl, combine meat mixture and blend well.

On a piece of plastic wrap, form the mixture into a 13 inch rectangle about 1/2 inch thick.

Soak the bread in half-and-half. Squeeze out very well. Spread bread over the meat layer. Sprinkle with blue cheese and then parsley. Roll up the meat mixture jellyroll fashion and remove the wrap. Seal both ends. Place the meatloaf on the cookie sheet and bake for 1 hour or until done. Allow to rest about 10 minutes before slicing.
