2 cups sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 cup apple cider
1/2 tsp prepared mustard
1 tbsp chopped chives
2 tbsp butter

Mix until well blended.

To prepare apple slices for spread: Cut peeled apples to 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick.

Dip in either mixture: 2 tsp. Fruit Fresh and 3 tbsp. water or 2 tsp. lemon juice and 3 tbsp. water. Slices will keep several hours in tightly sealed container.
