1 egg, slightly beaten
1 lb ground pork sausage
1/2 cup finely crushed cracker
1/3 cup milk
1/2 tsp sage
1/2 cup water and ketchup
2 tbsp packed brown sugar
1 tbsp vinegar and soy sauce

In a mixing bowl, combine first 5 ingredients. Beat at high speed for 5 minutes. Shape into 1 1/2 inch balls. Mixture will be soft so we your hands to shape easier.

In a skillet, brown on all sides; shaking pan occasionally to prevent sticking. Pour off excess fat. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over the meatballs. Cover and cook; simmer on low heat for 15 minutes. Serve with toothpicks.
