ENCHILADA MEATBALLS

1 1/2 lb ground beef
1/2 lb pork sausage
1 (4 oz) can diced green chilies, drained
1/2 tsp onion powder, cumin and garlic powder
1/4 tsp oregano
1 egg
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 (19 oz) can enchilada sauce

Combine all ingredients except enchilada sauce. Shape into 1 inch meatballs. Place in a large skillet and brown on all sides; drain fat. Pour enchilada sauce over meatballs and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Serves over hot rice
