1 lemon cake mix
6 tbsp butter, softened
4 large eggs
1 1/4 cups light corn syrup
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
8 oz walnuts, coarsely chopped

Preheat oven to 350. Grease a 13x9 inch baking pan. Reserve 3/4 cup cake mix. In a large bowl, with hands, mix butter, 1 egg and remaining cake mix until blended. Pat dough onto bottom of baking dish. Bake 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

In a large bowl, mix together corn syrup, brown sugar, vanilla, 3 eggs and reserved cake mix until blended. Increase speed to medium and beat 2 minutes, occasionally scraping bowl. Pour mixture over baked layer and sprinkle with nuts. Bake 25-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in baking dish on wire rack.

When cool, cut lengthwise into 3 strips, then cut each strip crosswise into 10 pieces. Store in tightly covered container.
