1 cup butter, softened
½ cup of sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups flour
1 (5 ¾ oz) pkg chocolate kisses
Confectioners’ sugar
Combine first 3 ingredients in a bowl and beat until light and fluffy. Add flour, stirring until well blended. Cover and chill 2-3 hours or until firm. Shape 1 tbsp dough around each kiss to make a ball; place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 for 12 minutes or until set, but not browned. Cool slightly on a rack then roll cookies in the dough.
