• 1 pound of butter, softened
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 3 1/2 cups flour
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 cup crushed potato chips
• Extra sugar for dipping

Mix together butter, sugar and vanilla. Add potato chips and stir in flour. Form small balls.
On ungreased baking sheet, press balls flat with bottom of a glass that has been dipped in sugar.
Bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees. After taking cookies from oven, let them stand a minute before removing from baking sheets. They can be fragile.
