1 lb. button white mushrooms (the larger the better)
1 lb. hot/spicy ground pork sausage (Jimmy Dean is my favorite)
1/2 small white onion, chopped fine
1 stalk green onions, sliced
1 (8oz.) cream cheese, softened 1 t. garlic powder
2 t. parsley
Salt and pepper to taste Breadcrumbs
2 T. butter

Brown sausage & onions until cooked through. Drain any excess grease. Season with garlic powder, parsley, salt & pepper. Put in cream cheese and cooked sausage & onions in a food processor and blend until all items are incorporated. Set aside.

Place mushrooms in a 9x13 pan with 2 T. water in pan and microwave for 2-3 minutes to tenderize mushrooms. Drain all of the water out of the 9x13 pan and fill mushrooms with a large spoonful of cream/sausage filling.

Top with a sprinkling of bread crumbs. Melt 2 T. butter and pour on the bottom of the pan around mushrooms. Bake or broil until brown and warmed through.
