1 9-inch refrigerated pie shell
1 1/2 cup torn spinach, washed
Crumbled bacon, to taste
Grated cheese of your choice, to taste
Chopped onion, to taste
3/4 tsp seasoned salt
4 large eggs
2 cup whipping cream
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp dried parsley flakes
1/2 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
Preheat oven to 425. Lightly coat a pie plate with cooking spray. Unfold the slightly chilled pastry, place in the baking dish, and crimp the edges. Line the pastry with the spinach. Layer the bacon, cheese and onion; sprinkle with the seasoned salt. Beat the eggs slightly in a medium bowl; beat in the cream and the remaining ingredients. Pour into the pan. Bake 15 minutes.
Reduce the oven temperature to 300 degrees and bake 30 minutes longer. Place aluminum foil around the edges and tent over the top, if necessary, during the last 10 - 12 minutes. Remove from oven and let stand 10 minutes before cutting. Serve in wedges.
