2 cups ham, cut into medium-size pieces
1 lb linguine, cooked al dente and drained
4 tbsp olive oil, divided
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp capers
1 cup peas
Zest and juice of 2 lemons
1 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/4 cup mint, chopped
1/4 cup basil, chopped

While pasta is cooking, heat 2 tbsp olive in a skillet over medium-high heat. When the pan begins to smoke, saute the garlic for 1 minute. Add ham and continue to saute until the ham begins to brown. Finally, add the capers and peas, saute for 1 more minute.

While skillet is still hot, drain pasta and add to the ham mixture. Add the zest, juice, salt and pepper and 2 tbsp olive oil. Saute for 1-2 minutes to let the flavors combine. Remove from heat and toss with herbs. Serve immediatelyh. Serves 4-6
