1 pound ground beef
Half of a small onion finely chopped
1 1/2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tbsp grill seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp fresh ground pepper
2 tbsps flour
3/4 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup milk
1 cup shredded cheese
1/2 box elbow noodles, cooked al dente, drained
While pasta is cooking, in a skillet on medium high saute the diced onion in butter until they are translucent. Add the flour and let it absorb the butter (this will help to thicken things later).
Add the ground beef to the skillet and start to break up the meat while cooking. Add the spices. When the cooked through, add the chicken broth and cook down by half. Turn the heat down to low-medium and then add the milk and cheese and stir well. Add drained noodles to the meat mixture. Let simmer for about 5 minutes then serve.
