1 ham steak, cut into small strips
6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
1/2 cup melted butter
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup cooking sherry
Salt, garlic powder and pepper, to taste
1 (16 oz) pkg vermicelli, cooked al dente, drained

Preheat oven to 325. Place ham in to bottom of a greased casserole dish. Top with chicken and slightly seasoning. Mix remaining ingredients together and spoon over chicken. Bake for 1 1/2 hour or until gravy is brown. Serve over cooked pasta.
