1 cup crushed pineapple, drained
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 tbsp unflavored gelatin
1/2 cup cold water
2 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
1 pint marshmallow crème
1 large container whipped topping

In a saucepan, add pineapple and sugar. Simmer until sugar has dissolved. Dissolve gelatin in cold water. Add to drained pineapple and sugar. Stir until dissolved. Remove from heat.

In a large bowl, cream together the cream cheese and marshmallow crème. Put pineapple mixture in cheese mixture and blend well. Refrigerate until mixture thickens. Fold in whipped topping. Sprinkle with ground nuts.
