1 cup cottage cheese, drained
1 (3 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened and cut up
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 (10 oz) pkg frozen chopped spinach or broccoli, thawed and squeezed dry
1/3 cup sliced celery
1 small onion, chopped
1/3 lb sliced mushrooms
1/4 cup milk
1/4 tsp dried basil and oregano, crushed
1/8 tsp ground sage
6 lasagna noodles
1 cup chopped chicken or turkey
1/2 cu shredded cheddar cheese
2/3 cup boiling water
In a mixing bowl, combine cheeses; set aside. In another bowl, combine soup and next 8 ingredients; set aside.
Place 2 of the noodles in a long baking dish and begin layering with half the cheese mixture and soup mixture. Repeat the layering, ending with the soup mixture. Sprinkle with the cheese.
Slowly pour the boiling water into the dish around the entire inside edge. Cover lightly with foil and bake at 350 for 60-65 minutes. Let stand covered, 10 minutes, before slicing.
