2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 1/4 to 1 1/2 cups half-and-half, divided
1/2 cup finely crushed hard peppermint candy

Combine chocolate chips, 1 cup half-and-half and candy in a saucepan; cook over medium-low heat about 12 minutes or until candy melts, stirring often. Stir in enough remaining half-and-half for desired consistency.

Store in refrigerator up to 2 weeks.

NOTE: Good served over waffles, pound cake or ice cream.
