For the dough
1 pound margarine, softened
1 pint French vanilla ice cream, softened
5 cups flour

Let ice cream and margarine soften at room temperature. Cut margarine and flour together with mixer and then add ice cream. Roll into balls, shape into cups and put into tassie pans. Add nut mixture (below). Bake at 350 for 25 minutes or until light brown. Sprinkle with powdered sugar while hot.

For the nut filling
1 1/2 sticks of butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup milk
3 egg yolks
3 cups ground walnuts
1 tsp cinnamon (or to taste)

Melt butter over flame; stir in sugar, milk, egg yolks, nuts and cinnamon.
