  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 12 slices whole wheat or white bread, toasted
  • 8 lettuce leaves
  • 8 slices deli-style American cheese
  • 1/2 pound thinly sliced deli ham
  • 8 slices tomato
  • 1/2 pound thinly sliced deli turkey breast
  • 8 slices cooked bacon

Combine the mayonnaise and mustard in a bowl and mix well. Spread 1 teaspoon of the mayo mixture on one side of each slice of toasted bread.

For each sandwich, place 1 slice of toast mayonnaise-side up. Top with 1 leaf of lettuce, 1 slice of cheese, 2 ounces of ham, 2 slices of tomato, and another slice of toast, mayonnaise-side down.

Spread 1 teaspoon of the mayo mixture on the top of the sandwich. Top it with another slice of cheese, 2 ounces of turkey, 2 slices bacon, another leaf of lettuce, and another slice of toast, mayonnaise-side down.

Slice the sandwich into triangles and secure each triangle with long toothpicks. Repeat the process for the remaining club sandwiches.

Serve immediately.
