- 5 1/2 cups prepared mashed potatoes
- 1/2 cup milk
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 teaspoons dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 3/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded Monterey jack cheese
- 12 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish. Combine the mashed potatoes, milk, cream cheese, sour cream, parsley, garlic salt, and nutmeg in a large mixing bowl. Beat on medium speed with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy. Transfer the potato mixture to the greased baking dish. Sprinkle the top with the shredded cheeses and crumbled bacon. Cover the dish with foil and place in the oven. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes or until heated through. Serve hot.
