- 8 ounces uncooked elbow macaroni
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cans (10 ounce size) condensed tomato soup
- 1/2 cup water
- salt and pepper, to taste
Cook the macaroni in salted water as directed on the package. Drain well. While the pasta is cooking, add the ground beef to a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook until the meat is no longer pink. Drain off any excess grease then add the onion to the skillet. Cook, stirring frequently, until the onion is soft. Add the tomato soup and water to the skillet and mix well. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, stir well, and cook until heated through. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve hot.
